........ am decorating the house for Christmas! Is it too early? Nah, never too early for Christmas decorating, especially with a child in the house. But I must ask am I a mean momma for not letting my daughter help me? Well I did technically let her help me but whatever decorations she put up I had to quickly re-do them without her noticing otherwise I would've had all the decorations on the one branch. Cute. But I could'nt cope with that.

Funny you posted about Christmas decorating. I did today too. I think I might really get into this year seeing as I didn't even put my tree up last year. My excuse though was that I had a 2 month old to look after. This year, no excuse!
I hear you for sure... we put up our tree and decorations on the weekend, and lets just say the tree looked like it was begging me to save it after my two little girls had finished with it! I think I was very controlled to leave it until they were asleep, then 'rescued' it! I did get told off for moving the ornaments the next day, but they forgave me... certainly not mean Mum at all!

Give the kids their own tree. Simple!
I am yet to get the tree out of storage. Well lets rephrase that - I am awaiting the man to get the tree out of storage and I keep hounding!
Re: the little ones helping. Well I am very fussy with my tree and decorations, but when those 'delightful' handmade goodies started coming home I was distressed. What to do? So I bought a second tree and my 3 minors have their own tree to decorate each year. They think I am being so kind, but really its so I dont have to have their decorations on my tree. Am I a bad mother? I better blog about that today!!!
Ok so the conclusion is to have another tree. Can I put it in the garage? LOL.
you know your kids will always remember the times you let them decorate the tree, mine do! so like many told you before, let them do their own thing and then wait till they go to bed, and pouffff magically everything will change(by you of course), its a magical season , everything works! lovely blog :)
