"Thou Shalt Not Covet!" Wise words from a wise source....but why o why Lord can't I have one of these? Preferably an Hermes one so I can be just like Olivia Palermo from The City? (My current pop culture addiction). Lately I have found myself obsessing over round trays to put on my coffee table, and since deep down I know that no little elf or Santa will be tossing one into my Santa sack come Christmas this year I will have to settle with this daggy one from Ikea and paint it....Reality bites. I think I prefer to covet. Forgive me Father.

oh i'm so with you - have been eyeing that hermes tray from olivia's apartment too. and her wardrobe. there are a few items in my own now that also hang in hers. only mine haven't been worn yet because i bought them on a whim thinking i have olivia's life and i am sooo far on the opposite side of her life i think i was hypnotised by her sequined shorts into thinking i could get away with them...
but yes, lovely. and the ikea wouldn't look too bad in a turquoise or something...

I know what you mean about Olivia and "The City"....it is my guilty pleasure! There is so much I don't like about Olivia - like her whole personality really! - but that girl never looks anything less than fabulous does she, I would LOVE her wardrobe!!! :)
