Oh how "My Cup Runneth Over!" (Psalms 23:5)........I convinced my tired, cranky and hungover husband to call into Bangalow on our way home from the wedding on Sunday and boy o boy am I glad we did!! I have always coveted the Limoges Porcelain Teacups in the pastel colours with gold trim but can hardly afford the teacup let alone the teapot! So I was surely impressed when we went into a lovely shop called Waxjambu emporium and found these sweet little teacups and saucers for a measly $20! Now I know they are no Limoges however they are certainly gorgeous and be still my beating heart because they also come in three other colours (pale blue, pastel green & yellow) that I will promptly be buying once the store gets more stock..... because I am not one for delayed gratification and no need to save here ladies..........

Wedding Wonderful Part 2
The wedding I went to over the weekend was so lovely. The bridegroom whom my husband and I have known for a long time now was so emotional (which was a complete surprise coming from such a large, burly and normally potty-mouthed man!) The table settings looked gorgeous and I thought they did very well for a budget/diy wedding.......
As mentioned in Thursday's post I promised to post pictures of my Zimmerman dress that I cut off and added tulle too for the wedding......So what do you think? Now because I am sitting down the dress looks a LOT shorter than it actually is (Skank is certainly not my style). However I ended up not using any black accents (as per previous post) and instead opted for neutral tan and gold accessories......

I want to live here....
Is there anything more perfect than a white house? I should think not! What a conundrum - I can't believe I DON'T live here.......I want to work @ that desk, drink coffee on the lounge, sip wine and read a book below the cuckoo clock, throw a dinner party at that table and catch some zzzzzzzzz's in that bed.........Oh the possbilities! Have a great weekend ladies and I will be back Monday.

Whats old is new again...
My husband and I have a wedding to go to on the weekend & I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE weddings so needless to say I have been perusing my wardrobe for some suitable attire but alas to no avail. And let me tell you this dodgy recession/depression isn't helping at all so a new dress is out of the question....oh the perils of frugality!
So I decided I needed some help along the way and thought I would put together an outfit/theme via the fabulous "polyvore" which then in turn inspired me to hack my old Zimmerman dress! (which is similar in colour above). I have chopped off the bottom of the dress so that it is now thigh-high rather than knee length and have added a double layer of tulle underneath. (With a little help from my sewing fairy mother of course) because a girl has gotta have a little tulle in her life, no? I was thinking about teaming the dress with gold jewellery and black accents???......I will post a couple of pictures of the outfit over the weekend so let me know what you think!

I Heart Letterpress
2009 Girly Calender (My Favourite)
Letterpress Stationery
Coaster Set
It's no surprise that I just adore letterpress. (I practically stalk the Bespoke Press blog) and these items from Sugar Paper are no exception. I have been eyeing off the desktop calenders for a while now. Aren't they just the sweetest calenders you have ever seen? They would truly inspire you to keep your desk clean, no?

Pretty Packaging
Madame Butterfly Beauty Bar - Byron Bay (Image via The Enchanted Closet)
Teacup Candle
Aromatic Candle
Mor Lip Delight
Handwrapped Triple-milled soap
Well I don't know about you, but I fall hard, really hard for pretty packaging. Case in point: Mor Cosmetics. I nearly keeled over when I went into Madame Butterfly Beauty Bar (THE most delectable shop situated in Byron Bay in the Feros Arcade). Talk about sensory overload! My heart started beating faster and faster, and then I didn't know where to look first and so of course I promptly fell into a flustered flutter.........

Once I came back down to earth I happened upon the Mor cosmetic Lip Delights. Now I will be honest, I didn't buy any because I couldn't decide on the colour!! No not on the product inside, nor how the product smelt (absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g by the way!) no these little tins of pure joy could of contained Vaseline for all I cared! However the decision has now been made and I have decided on the four tins above for the next time I go shopping in Byron Bay.....however I also want the scented candle in "Lychee Flower", the hand wrapped triple milled soaps and so on, so on, so on......

**Girly Hair Clips**
Favourite # 2
Remember I told you last time I had a problem with the hot glue gun? Well now the problem has worsened, ten-fold!
But don't these button hair clips look oh-so-sweet? I can't wait to put them in Yas's hair. I have also made some for my girlfriends children......so I am not that bad......really. My favourite are image # 1: A lovely black and white stripe grosgrain ribbon with a gold and pale coral button, followed closely by image # 2. The images don't do them justice. (Note: These are really bad shots -they are so grainy and the colour has not come out right and the clips just came straight off the hot glue gun press, hence the glue still sticking on some clips). Let me know what you think????
